Biography: Anika is a highly accomplished individual with an extensive background in Psychology. She spent years working in the corporate world, before realizing her entrepreneurial aspirations and becoming an external consultant. Her skills have since been used in academia, where she is pursuing her doctorate in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Capella University. Anika is also highly dedicated to giving back to the community. In her spare time, she also runs her own non-profit and for-profit organizations. Anika has worked in the human services field for over two decades. She has served as a law enforcement officer, administrator, and mental health specialist in state, governmental, and nonprofit organizations. Anika also worked in long-term care, substance abuse, and forensic institutions. Her passion is working with people who have experienced trauma and helping them to rebuild their lives. After leaving the corporate world to pursue her entrepreneurial endeavors, she now translates her skills into the research and academia of I/O Psychology. She is the Chairperson of the Learning Resources for Practitioners for the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology and runs her non-profit and for-profit organizations. Anika holds a master's degree in Psychology from Capella University and a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Florida A&M University, cum laude.
Personal: Anika prides herself on creativity, freedom, and healing. She loves to serve her community and spend time with her family. She is the proud military spouse of an active-duty service-memberand a mother of 3 beautiful children.
